By now “Coachella” has become a household name as a premier US music festival. But Coachella, the desert town that hosts the festival of the same name, is also on the map for its impressive public art mural project Coachella Walls. Produced by local artist Armando Lerma (of Date Farmers fame) and Medvin Sobio (33third.com), the project’s stated mission is to provide an “arts driven community revitalization in Downtown Coachella’s Historic Pueblo Viejo District.”
